Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction effect of various types of manure and organic NPK doses on okra plant growth. This research has been carried out at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from August to October 2020. This study used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was various types of manure (P) which consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely without giving manure, wallet manure, chicken manure and cow manure. The second factor was Organic NPK (N), which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 25, 50 and 75 grams per plot. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length and fruit weight per fruit. The data were statistically analyzed and continued with the BNJ honest real difference test at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is shown that the interaction of various types of manure and organic NPK has a significant effect on the observation parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, fruit weight per plant and fruit length. The best treatment was produced by swiftlet manure and 75 grams of organic NPK per plot. The main effect of various types of manure has a significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment is swiftlet manure. The main effect of organic NPK gives effect to all parameters. The best treatment of organic NPK with a dose of 75 grams per plot.
