Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the interaction of vermicompost and herbfarm fertilizer on the growth and production of winged bean. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of UPT UIRA Farm Agro, Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Teropong No. 62, Kubang Jaya Village, Kec. Siak Hulu, Kab. Kampar, Riau Province. This research was carried out for 3 months starting from October to December 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors, the first factor was vermicompost (K) which consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 0.8 , 1.0 and 1.2 kg/plot and the second factor is Herbafarm (H) which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 10, 15 and 20 ml/l water. Observational data from each treatment were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then a further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) is carried out at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that: The interaction of vermicompost and herbfarm has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment for vermicompost is a dose of 1.2 kg/plot and herbfarm with a concentration of 20 ml/l water (K3H3). The main effect of the dose of vermicompost was real on all observation parameters. The best treatment was a dose of 1.2 kg/plot (K3). The main effect of herbfarm concentration was real on all observation parameters, where the best treatment was the concentration of 20 ml/l water (H3).
