Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between learning disciplines and learning methods with biology learning outcomes based on the academic abilities of students in class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Cerenti for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research was conducted in March 2020. This research is a correlational study and data collection uses a questionnaire, documentation and interviews. The sample in this study were 62 students with different levels of academic ability. The data analysis in this study used the Person Product Moment correlation analysis technique. The results showed that in high academic, learning discipline (X1), learning method (X2) and learning outcomes (Y) there was a strong relationship (0.678). In moderate academic, learning discipline (X1), learning method (X2) and learning outcomes (Y) there is a moderate relationship (0.554). In low academics, learning discipline (X1), learning methods (X2) and learning outcomes (Y) have a strong relationship (0.751). For significant test scores, it was found that in high academic, learning discipline (X1), learning method (X2) with learning outcomes (Y) tcount (3.45)> table (2.11). In moderate academic, learning discipline (X1), learning method (X2) with learning outcomes (Y) tcount (3.52)> table (2.04). In low academic, learning discipline (X1), learning method (X2) with learning outcomes (Y) tcount (4.25)> table (2.11). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between learning discipline and learning methods with biology learning outcomes based on the academic abilities of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Cerenti for the 2019/2020 academic year.
