Abstract
This study aims to see the effect of public service advertisements "let's wear masks" on public awareness of using masks in the city of Pekanbaru. Based on a survey conducted, the Covid-19 prevention advertisements that have been carried out spread in print and electronic media are still not able to increase public awareness. There are still many people who have been prosecuted for not following government directives in preventing the spread of COVID-19. In this research, the researcher uses field research which directly goes to research to the research location. The data analysis model used in this research is descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach, namely studying the relationship between two or more variables and describing or explaining a problem whose results can be generalized. In this study, it is more concerned with the aspect of the breadth of the data so that the data or research results are considered to be a representation of the entire population. The results showed that there was a significant and significant effect of public service advertisements "let's wear masks" on public awareness of using masks in Pekanbarun city. If the public service advertisement variable is increased, there will be an increase in public awareness of using masks in the city of Pekanbaru by 0.392 units.
