Abstract

This study aims to comply with the inhibiting factors of the Government and Maintenance of Green Open Space. This type of research which is located in urban forest, city park, and green open space for teaching Integrity is the type of research used is a qualitative research method by means of a survey. Namely, prioritizing the interview list as a data collection tool and the data collected by this tool is then used as the main raw material for observing the conditions of the research location. There are key informants and informants in this study, namely the coordinator of the head of the gardening sector, the maintenance supervisor, and the green open space visitor. Three data collection techniques used in determining key informants and informants are interview, observation and documentation techniques. Types and data collection techniques used consisted of primary data which was collected through a list of interviews and results of field research as well as secondary data collected using reports and notes and documents. Based on this observation technique, the researcher assesses and concludes that the maintenance of green open spaces by the public works office and the arrangement of open spaces in the city of Pekanbaru is quite good.
