Abstract
The problem in this study is that students have difficulty in learning which is indicated by the low learning outcomes obtained by students in taking daily tests on the material cell reproduction that is still under KKM. This study aims to describe and knowing students learning difficulties in cell reproduction material and the factors that affect students learning difficulties. The type of research used is research quantitative descriptive. The technique of determining the sample is using a saturated sampling technique. The research sample is 3 classes, namely class XII IPA1 , XII IPA2 , and XII IPA3 total 100 students. Data on student learning difficulties were obtained through questionnaires, teacher interviews and student, and documentation. The results of the study show that the average student learning difficulties in 69,10% of cell reproduction material through the questionnaire is included in the high category. Difficulty student learning, namely the indicator explaining the definition of cell reproduction with a percentage of 63, 46% fall into the low category. Indicators explain the various types of cell reproduction with a percentage of 66, 14% included in the low category. Indicators explain the stages and important features of mitosis with a percentage of 72, 11% included in the high category. Indicators explain the stages and important features of meiosis with a percentage of 69, 8% included in the high category, and Indicator understands the stages of mitosis through activities with percentage of 74% fall into the high category.
