Abstract

Buying and selling is exchanging something or selling something else for something else. Buying and selling is also a muamalah activity where humans do it to fulfill their daily needs. This is because in human life always interact with each other. In practice, in Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir Regency, many do buying and selling but many also do not know the rules of buying and selling according to Islamic law. The formulation of the problem in this study are: (1) How is the practice of buying and selling animal dung in Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir Regency? (2) How is the practice of buying and selling animal dung according to the Islamic view? The author uses empirical or sociological legal research methods, namely direct research into the field. This research is descriptive in nature, that is, it provides an overview and analyzes statements clearly and in detail. The data collection tool in this research is through interview documentation and observation. In this field study, the data were then analyzed using qualitative methods with the deductive method of drawing conclusions used. Based on the results of this study, the practice of buying and selling carried out in Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir Regency is an activity that is usually done every day. So that people also do not have any objections in making transactions. In Islamic law, the sale and purchase of animal dung is permissible as long as it does not conflict with Islamic Shari'a law. This is because animal manure is made from cow and goat manure which is used as manure which is useful for sellers and buyers because it is very useful for plants. The practice of buying and selling that is carried out based on the opinion of the informants about the sale and purchase of animal waste is more about the process, use and function. Regarding the law depends on the belief of each.
