Abstract

The purpose of this Working Paper is to be able to understand and know that the Sub-Section Office Spatial Planning at the Pekanbaru City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office has achieved a good office layout and really pays attention to several aspects, namely; spatial design, preparation of office equipment and physical environment requirements. Office layout can be divided into three types, namely: open space, closed office space, and panoramic office space. Starting from the author's interest in being able to raise this title because of the author's curiosity, it will be discussed regarding the Spatial Analysis of the General Sub-Section Office at the Pekanbaru City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, there are problems faced by the author in the workplace, namely; Layout of the employee's office has not been carried out properly that there is no guest waiting room which is felt to be less comfortable for employees and guests, equipment such as photocopies that will come, should have one. Because when the printer ink runs out, the copier can still be used by saving the printer machine ink, it has not been able to prepare applications related to correspondence in managing incoming and outgoing mail and modern storage (archives) on sub. general Affair. in the form of: Microsoft Excel (modern archives), smart, and web-based digital archives (e-archives). This can cause less comfort for employees and guests who come, their performance is not carried out properly and correctly.
