Abstract

This study is entitled The Ability to Analyze the Elements of Student Poetry Builders Class X Taruna Satria Vocational School Pekanbaru. Problems in this Research 1) How is the Ability to Analyze the Poem Building Elements of Class X Students Taruna Satria Vocational School in aspects of diction, 2) How is ability Analyzing the Elements of Poetry Builders in Class X Vocational School Taruna Satria Pekanbaru on the aspect of the image, and 3) How is the Ability to Analyze the Elements Poetry Builder of Class X SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru Vocational School in the aspect of words concrete. The population in this study were 120 students consisting of 4 classes. The sample used is a random sample or random sampling so the amount the sample became 24 students. This study aims to analyze the data the ability of students in Analyzing poetry-building elements systematically and detailed, so that the true picture can be known. The scope of research this is included in the scope of literary studies. Theory used in this research is the theory of Aminuddin (2010), E Kosasih (2012), Waluyo (2003), Racmat Djoko Pradopo (2010), Henry Guntur Tarigan (2009). Data analysis is processed by using the formula of Sudijono (2011: 43), after a large percentage known, then linked to the Ministry of Education assessment criteria (2007). The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The technique used in this research is technique observation and test techniques. Data analysis technique is a percentage technique referred to by Sudijono, Anas (2012) and the benchmark values ​​proposed by Arikunto, Suharsimi (2013). The results of this study conclude (1) the ability to analyze element of poetry builder of class X SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru students on aspects diction is categorized as sufficient with an average of 57.00 thus the hypothesis is accepted, (2) the ability to analyze the elements of poetry building in grade X vocational high school students Satria Pekanbaru in the aspect of the image with enough categories with an average of 59.25 with thus the hypothesis is accepted, (3) the ability to analyze the building blocks of poetry Grade X students of Taruna Satria Pekanbaru Vocational School on aspects of concrete words categorized less with an average of 52.30 thus the hypothesis is accepted. in a manner the overall ability to analyze the elements of poetry building in class X vocational high school students Taruna Satria Pekanbaru is in the sufficient category with an average of 56.18.
