Abstract
The purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility of geotourism potential and its development efforts. The research methods used include mapping of tourist destinations, lithology sampling, geotourism feasibility analysis, and SWOT analysis in tourism potential areas. The geomorphology of the research area is divided into three units, the Denudational Low Slope Geomorphology Unit, the Structural Steep Hills Geomorphology Unit, and the Volcanic Steep Geomorphology Unit. Lithology found in the research area, among others, non-carbonate claystone, sandstone, and conglomerate. Diversity of geological structures is also found, such as Folds and Joints which generally have a southwest-northeast direction. There are 5 tourist objects in the research area, namely Cipogas Lake, Pawan Hot Springs, Sipogas Valley Waterfall, Elephant Rock and Sikafir Cave. There is one object that has the potential to become a tourist spot in the research area, namely, Sungai Bungo Waterfall.
