Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the Supervision of the Pekanbaru Municipal Civil Service Police Unit in curbing cigarette advertisements on certain roads in the Pekanbaru City Area. Indicators in this study are Setting Standards, Measuring Performance, Comparing Performance in Accordance with Standards, Taking Corrective Action. This type of research located in Pekanbaru City is a Descriptive Survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire list as a data collection tool and the data collected by this method is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at the site carefully. The population used in this study is the Head of the Pekanbaru City Civil Service Police Unit, the Head of Operations and Public Order Section of Public Order Section, Public Peace, the Guidance and Counseling Section, the Supervision and Tikdan Internal Section. The saturation sampling technique used in determining individual samples is for the population of employees and the Purposive Sampling Technique for Civil Service Police Officers in Pekanbaru, and Accidental Sampling for the community. Types and data collection techniques used in this study consisted of, primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use a frequency table tool.
