Abstract
This study aims to see the relationship between optimism and self-efficacy in employees of PT. Surya True Maridan Plantation. The hypothesis in this study is the influence of the relationship between optimism and self-efficacy on employees of PT. Surya True Maridan Plantation. This study involved 110 factory employees of PT. Surya True Maridan Plantation. The scale used consists of 22 self-efficacy scales and 15 optimism scales with normal results seen by Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The hypothesis test in this study was accepted with the results of the analysis showing a positive relationship between optimism on self-efficacy among employees r=0.409, p <0.05. So that the higher the optimism of the employee, the higher the self-efficacy of theemployee.
