Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Liquidity (CR), Profitability (ROA), Leverage (DER) and Firm Size (Size) on Bond Rating in Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018 period. This study provides information and an overview for investors about banking bond ratings so that investors are more careful in investing. The independent variables used in this study are Liquidity (CR), Profitability (ROA), Leverage (DER) and Firm Size (Size). The dependent variable used in this study is the Bond Rating (Rating). This type of research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were 45 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample consisted of 11 companies selected by purposive sampling method. The data used are secondary data, while the data analysis uses logistic regression analysis using the IBM SPSSS Statistics 22 program. The results showed that (1) Liquidity has not significant effect on Bond Rating, (2) Profitability has a significant effect on Bond Rating, (3) Leverage has a significant effect on Bond Rating and (4) Firm Size has a significant effect on Bond Rating.
