Abstract

This study aims to test the validity and practicality of the development of powerpointbased mathematics learning media on the material of a three-variable system of linear equations in class X. The subjects of this study were students in class X at SMAN 1 Siak Kecil. The type of research is development research using the ADDIE model, namely from the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluate. The methods used in data collection are interviews and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the assessment of the validity of the learning media were obtained based on the validation sheet, namely with a value of 82.67%, the learning media developed was very valid. Field trials based on student response questionnaires obtained a value of 78,08%, so it can be concluding that the learning media is practical. So it can be concluded that this powerpoint-based learning media is very valid and practical to use as a learning medium.
