Abstract
Santri (Islamic School Students) who live permanently in Islamic boarding schools will certainly be faced with challenges and difficulties that can cause students to leave school or perform resilience, but it depends on several factors. This study aims to determine the relationship between qana'ah and the resilience of boarding school students in Pekanbaru. The cluster random sampling method was used to select 100 participants as the study's subjects. The data collection method used is 6 items of The Brief Resilience Scale (BRS) by Smith, et al (2006) and the qana'ah scale compiled by Ahya (2019) which has 11 items. Statistical analysis used is Pearson product moment which shows the correlation coefficient r value 0.408 with p 0.000 (p < 0.05). In conclusion, there is a significant positive relationship between qana'ah and the resilience of Islamic boarding school students in Pekanbaru City. This means that the higher the qana'ah, the higher the resilience, but on the other hand, the lower qana'ah, the resilience level of the students of Islamic boarding schools in Pekanbaru City is also low.
