Abstract

One of the factors that affect the level of success of teachers is their performance, an effort to improve their performance is to pay attention to the workload of teachers because workloads that exceed the capacity of the ability will affect the occurrence of increased work stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and work stress on teachers in village x during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a correlational quantitative research design, with 70 teachers in village x as the subject. The results showed that all subjects as many as 70 people experienced moderate workload and work stress (100.0%) and the research data was obtained using the workload and work stress scale. The analytical technique used is product moment correlation analysis and obtains sig p = 0.000 (p > 0.05) this is evidenced by the F test results which show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, and a correlation coefficient value of 0.754 this indicates that there is a positive relationship between the two variables so that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted.
