Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between coping strategies and emotional exhaustion in mothers who have elementary school children in accompanying children to learn online systems. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant relationship between coping strategies and emotional exhaustion in assisting online learning systems. The subjects in this study amounted to 229 people who were mothers/guardians of students at the Ibu Harapan Bengkalis Integrated Private Islamic Elementary School. Data collection in this study used a 10-item coping strategy scale with a reliability value of 0.769 and a 6-item emotional exhaustion scale with a reliability value of 0.798. The analytical method used in this research is Spearmen Rank Order correlation analysis. The results of statistical analysis obtained a correlation value of -0.049 (>0.05) with a significance value of .462 (p<0.05). Thus, it shows that there is no correlation between coping strategies and emotional exhaustion in mothers who have elementary school children in accompanying children to learn online systems.
