Abstract
This study aims to describe the use of learning media used by teachers in learning biology in private SMA/MA in sukajadi district. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data obtained through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and inference ( drawing conclusions). It can be concluded that human based learning media get a percentage of 71,11% with a good enough category, the use of print based learning media gets a percentage of 67,86% in a good enough category, visual based learning media gets a percentage of 79,44% in a good category, audio visual based media get a percentage of 71,11% with a fairly good category, and computer based media get a percentage of 68, 33% in a fairly good category. From the recapitulation data of all biology learning media, the teacher who has the highest score number 1 is AA with a percentage 76,54% in the good enough category, while those who get the lowest scores in numbers 10 and 11 are RE and SC with a percentage of 67,90% in the good enough category, while the overall average is get a percentage of 71,29% with a fairly good category. The learning media used by the teacher when teaching in biology is good enough for biology teachers to use in the sukajadi sub district.
