Abstract
This study aims to investigate whether there is an influence of Aqidah Akhlak lessons on students’ morals in the school environment of MTsN 1 Pelalawan. The type of the study is quantitative research with a correlation approach. The subject of the study is the students in grade VIII at MTsN 1 Pelalawan, and the object of the study is the Aqidah Akhlak lessons on students’ morals in grade VIII in the school environment of MTsN 1 Pelalawan. The population of the study consists of 92 students and the entire 92 students are taken as samples. The data collection techniques of the study are questionnaires and documentation. Based on the data analysis, it is known that there is an influence of Aqidah Akhlak lessons on students’ morals in grade VIII in the school environment of MTsN 1 Pelalawan. It is known from the results of simple linear regression analysis that a significance value is less than 0.05, or 0.000 < 0.05 so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The magnitude of the influence of Aqidah Akhlak lessons on students’ morals in the school environment is 0.208 or 20.8% or included in the weak category, because it is in the range of 0.20-0.399 in the correlation coefficient interpretation table, while the remaining 79.2% is influenced by other factors. Thus, the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the level of relationship between Aqidah Akhlak lessons and students’ morals in the school environment of MTsN 1 Pelalawan is included in the weak category.
