Abstract

Open Space is a space that become people right must be fulfill by government with 20 % standart from area length that exist. City Park is one of component that must be filled with composition of population need and land length based on public works regulation number 5 year 2008 each resident is entitled to 2 m² of garden land, tualang district has empty’s land for its city park and facilities services are toilet and grass field. In order to developing that city park, government power was limited. Because of that city park development that fit on people wishes are needed. This research intend for framing the priority’s direction of City Park based of people preferention on Tualang Sub-district, this research used primary data in form of field observation and distributing questionnaires and seconds data analyzed by quantitative descriptive method and used likert scale method based on minister of public works regulation number 5 /PRT/M 2008 about guidelines for provision and utilization of open space in urban areas an experts. The result of research shows that Tuah Sekawan’s Park didn’t up to standart of minister public works regulation number 5/PRT/M 2008 and priority’s direction for city park development are kind of active park, hedgerows, ornamental garden vegetation, eco function as lungs of city, society function as workout and recreation activity, economic function as product supplier such as flower, fruit and vegetables, estethic function as supporting the city’s magnifiecience, and as well as having free wi-fi facility, workout site, canteen, souvenir store and water station.
