Abstract
This study aims to determine the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the authority of the Department of Tourism and Culture (Study of Waterfall Tourism Objects in Kuantan Singingi Regency ). The research variable is the effectiveness of the implementation of authority, with indicators: (1 ) management of district tourism attractions; (2 ) management of district strategic tourism areas; (3 ) management of district tourism destinations; (4 ) determination of district tourism business registration certificate; (5 ) marketing of domestic and foreign tourism attractions, destinations and district strategic tourism areas; (6 ) provision of infrastructure (creative zone / creative space / creative city ) as a space for expression, promotion and interaction for creative people in district areas; and (7 ) implementation of capacity building for tourism human resources and the basic level creative economy. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative research with descriptive methods. The location of this research is Kuantan Singingi Regency. The informants in this study were the Head of the Office and the Head of the Tourism Destination Division. While the research respondents were divided into two, namely 50 people from the community and from 25 tourists. The research data comes from primary data, namely in the form of interviews and questionnaires, while secondary data is only used as supporting data. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the authority of the Tourism and Culture Office (Study of Waterfall Tourism Objects in Kuantan Singingi Regency ) as a whole are quite achievable.
