Abstract

One of the important roles that must be emphasized by an agency in order to achieve its goals is by creating optimal supervision. Basically, the standard operating procedure for supervision is carried out at the Pekanbaru City Primary Tax Office through observation and measurement of the work results of each employee. The results achieved are compared with the targets and standards that have been set previously. Supervision is carried out in an effort to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with policies, strategies, decisions, plans and programs that have been analyzed, formulated and predetermined in a framework designed to improve employee performance. The purpose of this study is the effect of supervision on employee performance at the Pekanbaru City Primary Tax Office. The methods used are descriptive and quantitative. Population and sample are Head of Pekanbaru City Primary Tax Office, Head of General Subdivision and Internal Compliance and 43 employees. The technique of collecting interview data and analyzing data descriptively through a quantitative approach. This study concludes that from the results of the descriptive analysis it can be concluded that overall job supervision stated that some respondents stated that they were in the very good category with work supervision at the Pekanbaru City Primary Tax Office. From the results of the descriptive analysis it can be concluded that the overall performance of the employees stated that some of the respondents stated that they were not good with the performance of the employees at the Pekanbaru City Primary Tax Office. Then it is concluded that there is a significant effect of work supervision variables which have a significant effect on employee performance variables at the Pekanbaru City Primary Tax Office.
