Abstract
Groundwater is a natural resource that has an important role. In Indonesia, about 70% of the need for clean water sources comes from ground water. The progress of civilization causes a serious threat to groundwater, especially in terms of quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution and direction of groundwater flow, the feasibility of groundwater quality based on physics (Color, taste, smell, TDS temperature, DHL) and chemical (pH, Fe, Pb, Mn) and the distribution of groundwater quality based on physical and chemical parameter values. The analysis was carried out on 34 dug well stations. Based on the contour pattern, there are 2 centers of groundwater distribution and 2 centers of groundwater flow in the study area. It was found that there are 2 flavors of groundwater, namely fresh and brackish; 3 colors of groundwater, namely clear, cloudy, yellowish; 2 smells of groundwater, namely smelly and odorless, groundwater temperature ranges from 26oC - 30oC, TDS value 41.0 mg/l – 406.8 mg/l, DHL value 45.7 us/cm – 660 us/cm, pH value 5.21 – 5,82, Fe value 0.0500 mg/l – 0.243 mg/l, Pb value 0.0011 mg/l – 0.0053 mg/l, Mn value 0.0100 mg/l – 0.132 mg/l. Of the 34 stations specified in the groundwater data collection, none of them met the quality standards for drinking water, and so did the quality standards for sanitation hygiene purposes.
