Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of entrepreneurship programs on the entrepreneurial interests of students at the Career Center of Riau Islamic University. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative survey, namely prioritizing the list of questionnaires as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool and then used as the main raw material to analyze empirical conditions and objectivity of the existence of purposes at the research site. Sampling using incidental sampling. Data analysis in the study used simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed that in variable X namely Program Evaluation with indicators Input, Process, Outputs (results) and Outcome (impact) get results from respondents with the category of agree. As for variable Y entrepreneurial interest with indicators of Self-Esteem, Personal Challenges, Desire to Be Boss, Innovation, Leadership, Flexibility, and Profit get results from respondents with agreed category results. The results of a simple linear regression equation study show that the Entrepreneurship Program has a significant relationship to the entrepreneurial interests of students. The result obtained r2 value of 0.435 (43.5%), which means that entrepreneurship programs affect entrepreneurial interests by 43.5% and the remaining 56.5% are influenced by other variables not researched in this study.
