Abstract

This research is done with the aim to know the relationship of self efficacy to the learning outcomes of grade VII SMPN 1 Tanah Putih School year 2019/2020. This Research is correlation research. The instruments used in collecting data a instrument, interviews and documentation. The study was conducted on 24 September – 12 October 2019. Sampling techniques in this study using saturated sampling techniques. The sample will be taken in this study as much as population is 87 students. So the samples in this study were 87 students. The Distributed poll consists of 27 statements. The results of this study showed that the results of the analysis gained that, the correlation coefficient (r ) of 0.50 with a significant status of 5% it showed that self efficacy towards students ' science learning outcomes Class VII SMPN 1 Tanah Putih school year 2019/2020 has a correlation in the medium category. From the hypothesis testing acquired r count Count (5.3) > t table (1.98). This means that H 0 is rejected and H is accepted "there is a significant link between self efficacy to the results of the science of students of grade VII SMPN 1 Tanah Putih school year 2019/2020". Then the result of analysis of coefficient of determination obtained by 25%, meaning that the variable self efficacy (X) gives a positive contribution to the learning outcomes (Y) obtained by students by 25% while 75% is determined by the variable or other factors that may affect student learning outcomes are not addressed in this study. a
