Abstract

Workload is very important for a company. By providing an effective workload, the company can find out the extent to which employees can be given the maximum workload and the extent to which it affects the productivity of the employees themselves. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload on the productivity of production employees at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V PKS (Palm Oil Mill) Sei Pagar, Kampar Regency. Data obtained from 46 employees of the production section by filling out a questionnaire. Based on the analysis that has been done, the results of the t-test obtained a t-count of (9.815) greater than the t-table (2.015) meaning that the workload has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. The effect of workload on productivity is 0.686 which means 68.60% change in employee productivity at PTPN V Sei Pagar is determined by the independent variable, namely workload. The conclusion of this study is the relationship between workload and employee productivity with a correlation of 0.829, so it can be categorized as strong and positive.
