Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of human relations on the work ethic of employees at PT. Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) Main Branch Pekanbaru. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with a saturated sampling method. The sample in this study were 49 respondents. The research data were obtained from questionnaires (primary), literature study and direct interviews with related parties according to the research objectives. The analysis technique uses instrument test, simple linear regression, determination test (R2) and t test (partial). The results showed that human relations had a positive and significant effect on employee work ethics. This is evidenced by the level of positive direction and the magnitude of the significance value. In addition, the value of t count is greater than the value of t table, namely (14.083> 2.012), which means that the greater the human relations, it will be able to have a positive impact on the work ethic of employees at PT. Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir Pekanbaru. While the relationship between the human relation variable and the employee work ethic variable is 80.8%, the relationship between the two variables shows a very strong direction. While the remaining 19.2% is influenced by other variables which are not discussed further in this study.
