Abstract

A well that has been long time produced by natural flow will run into performance decreasing, so that artificial lift is needed to maintain the well performance. Monobore completion is the well that used in this study, because of that conventional gas lift installation very challenging. Due to there’s nothing mandrel in monobore completion, researchist using tools called “coiled tubing”. Previously, there were several studies conducted by several people regarding conventional coiled tubing gas lifts but conventional coiled tubing gas lift has several limitation that have to gain a tool called “unloader”. This study is about coiled tubing gas lift with unloader which is next generation of conventional coiled tubing gas lift with having flexibility on reach any depth we want and the aim of this study to determine injection gas volume, dome pressure, and to analyze a comparison between manual and prosper simulator calculation. Both method can increase production rate and reach the optimum point for the future. On manual calculation POI at 6410 ft, simulator has 6800 ft, optimum rate on manual 1420 bbl/day, simulator has1416 bbl/day, injection gas volume on manual calculation 0.610 MMSCF and 0.615 MMSCFD on simulator, unloader depth from borh method is on 6300 ft and only have 1 unloader. Based on analysis, there was no significant differences between each method. On manual calculations POI at 6410 ft, on prosper at 6800 ft, optimum rate on manual calculations is 1420 bbl/day, on prosper is 1400 bbl/day, injection gas volume on manual calculations 0.610 MMSCFD on prosper 0.615 MMSCFD, unloader depth for each method on 6300 ft, the sum of unloader valve or on unloader module is one for each method.
