Abstract

This research is entitled "Dance Coaching by the Tourism and Culture Office of Kuansing in 2019". This study aims to determine dance guidance by the Department of Tourism and Culture of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The problem under study is how the Dance Coaching by the Department of Tourism and Culture of Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to describe the dance coaching of the Kuantan Singingi Regency Tourism Office. This research method is a descriptive analysis method with qualitative data and the theory used by Edy Sedyawati's theory. The data collection techniques used were observation techniques, documentation techniques, interview techniques. From the results that the author has done for the Dance Development by the Tourism and Culture Office, the Tourism Office fosters dance to preserve and develop existing traditions in Kuantan Singingi Regency in collaboration with the Regency Arts Council and the District Arts Council, namely by making a vision, mission, goals and programs existing programs in the Tourism and Culture Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency.
