Abstract

Students hope to be able to continue their future by trying to learn and study, then the student's self-confidence arises to achieve his future, on the other hand, students feel academic anxiety felt by students to go through the process so that the future is achieved. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-confidence and student academic anxiety during the covid-19 pandemic. The data collection method used correlation with a sample of 323 students at SMKN 4 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The data analysis method used is Pearson Product Moment. Based on the analysis test, it was found that there was no significant relationship between the relationship between self-confidence and student academic anxiety during the Covid-19 pandemic with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.243 and a significance value (p) of 0.000 (p<0.05). This shows that there is a relationship between the self-confidence variable and students' academic anxiety during the covid-19 pandemic.
