Abstract
This study aims to determine the impact of the Stad Type Cooperataive model in the learning outcomes of under-passing learning in class VIII2 students of SMP Negeri 4 Bagan Sinembah. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research instrument used was to use the technique of the method cycle I, cycle II, observation, documentation, literature, and tests. Based on the results of data analysis and testing obtained, for learning carried out in cycle I using the Cooperative Type Stad model, there are still many who have not reached the KKM. In the first cycle, there were 4 people with a percentage of 27% who reached the KKM while 11 people who had not reached the KKM with a percentage of 73%. While the data obtained in the second cycle, obtained completely as many as 12 people with a percentage of 80%, while only 3 people who have not reached the KKM with a percentage of 20%.
