Abstract

This research is motivated by the impact of natural climate change and human intervention, as an effort to reduce this impact the government issued a Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number P.84 MENLHK-SETJEN KUM1/11/2016 concerning the Village Program Climate is included in the management of the climate village program which includes climate change adaptation efforts, climate change mitigation efforts, and sustainable institutions and support. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method. The duration of this research was approximately five months. The data source of this research is six informants. Data collection used was observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification and confirmation of conclusions. Based on the results of the discussion research, the evaluation of the implementation of Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number P.84 / MENLHK-SETJEN KUM1/11/2016 concerning the Climate Village Program in Balai Jaya District, Rokan Hilir Regency has been running optimally. However, there are obstacles in carrying out the Evaluation of the Implementation of Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number P.84 MENLHK SETJEN/KUM. 1 11/2016 concerning the Climate Village Program in Balai Jaya District, Rokan Hilir Regency, is the large amount of independent budget funds that must be provided for implementation, climate village program and community awareness or participation as well as a lack of community understanding of the climate village program
