Abstract
The term quarter life crisis was first proposed by Alexandra Robbins and Abby Wilner in 2001, namely individuals who have just left the comfort of life as a student and started entering real life, with demands for work or marriage. This study focuses on the period in which a teenager experiences a transition before entering adulthood as an important period. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in quarter-life crisis between boys and girls in the city of Pekanbaru. The sample of this study amounted to 100 people with 50 women and 50 men who have an age range of 20-35 years and domiciled in the city of Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique. The data research method used was the Quarter life crisis with a total of 27 items. The data analysis method used in this study was the Independent Sample T-Test with a significance value of 0.811 (p<0.005).results show that there is no difference in the Quarter Life Crisis for men and women. It can be interpreted that the level of Quarter life crisis between men and women has no difference.
