Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the suitability of the accounting application at the Village of Kuala Panduk Teluk Meranti District Pelalawan Regency Government with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Primary data in this study is a soft copies were General Cash Books, Village Bank Books, Tax Assistant Cash Books, Activity Subsidiary Cash Books, Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget Implementation Reports, Village Property Reports. While secondary data is in the form of supporting data obtained from documents, books, and other research results. This study uses a qualitative analysis method because this researcher’s interpretation of a phenomenon,then this research is descriptive supported by relevant theories. The results of this study indicate that the application of financial accounting in the village of Kuala Panduk Taluk Meranti District Pelalawan Regency is not in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
