Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WORK STRESS AND CYBERLOAFING BEHAVIOR ON CIVIL SERVANTS OF REGIONAL PERSONNEL AGENCY OF RIAU Shafira Nurlia Resfi 178110155 FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF RIAU ABSTRACT The occurrence of work stress is associated with demands and resources, if the demands are greater than resources, it can cause employees to experience stress, cyberloafing is the use of office internet and office e-mail for personal purposes that have nothing to do with their work. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work stress and cyberloafing behavior in civil servants of regional personnel agency in Riau Province. The number of research samples was 112 subjects. The sampling technique is using saturated samples. Data collection uses a Likert scale.The results of the analysis method found that data is normally distributed and has a linear pattern, so researchers use Pearson Correlation. The results of statistical analysis showed a choliation of 0.711 with a significance value of 0,000 (p <0.005). This shows a significant relationship with a positive direction between work stress and cyberloafing behavior in civil servants of regional personnel agency in Riau Province.
