Abstract
Subjective well-being is the happiness possesed by individuals obtained from the result of cognitive and affective life evaluations. Thia study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between gratitude and subjective well-being of honorary teachers. the subjects in this study found 98 honorary teacher in 14 state elementary school in bukitraya district. the sampling technique used was satureted sampling technique. the scale used in this study is the gratitude scale which found 13 aitems compiled by rusdi (2016) and the subjective well-being welfare scale collected by pramithasari and suseno (2019). data analysis in this study used the spearman rank order correlation test which showed a value of 0.700 with a significant value of 0.000 (p<0,05). so it can be said that the results of this study are positive between gratitude and subjective well-being, where the higher the gratitude, the higher the subjective welfare of honorary teachers and vice versa. it can be said that gratitude is one of the factors that play an important role in improving the subjective well-being of honorary teachers.
