Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF USING QUESTION AND ANSWER METHOD ON CLASS XI STUDENTS’ ACTIVE LEARNING IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION SUBJECT AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 SINGINGI HILIR KUANTAN SINGINGI REGENCY AYU AGUSTIN 172410204 The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of question and answer method on class XI students’ active learning in Islamic education subject at senior high school 2 Singingi Hilir. The lack of students’ active learning could be seen from several symptoms such as: students were not care in doing homework. Students were lack in motivating themselves to ask when they did not understand about the material. Students were not be brave in giving opinion. Some of students were less-active in discussion. This research conducted at senior high school 2 Singingi Hilir Kuantan Singingi Regency with the subject in this research was class XI students with the population 134 students and took sample in 100 Islamic students at class A to D. This research used quantitative with correlational approach. Data collection technique in this research used questionnaire. Data analysis technique used validity test, reliability test, normality test, and hypothesis test by using SPSS version 22 application. This research finding explained that the hypothesis was accepted where significant score was 0.000 and it was less than 0.05. it meant that there was any influence of using question and answer method on class XI Students’ active learning in Islamic education subject at senior high school 2 Singingi Hilir Kuantan Singingi Regency. The influence score 0.491 or 49.1% classified into range 0.40-0.599 with strong enough category in correlation coefficient interpretation table.
