Abstract

This research was motivated by lack of society understanding about murabahah financing mechanism, then the society was less understand about murabahah financing product. The purpose in this research examined to know the level of society understanding on murabahah financing product at Taluk Kuantan city. Formulation of problem in this research questioned how far the level of society understanding on murabahah financing product at sharia bank at Taluk Kuantan city. This research used field research by using quantitative design and the analysis used descriptive statistic, where the data was grouped and explained based on the type of analysis, and it was presented by table, diagram form and explained more. The population involved society at Taluk Kuantan city and the sample took 378 respondents and used random sampling technique. Data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation. research finding showed that the level of society understanding on murabahah financing product at sharia bank at Taluk Kuantan city was in “good” score with percentage 79.92% and it was in score 61% - 80% with agree category.
