Abstract

This research was motivated by lack of students’ Al-Qur’an recitation ability at Islamic junior high school Nurul Iman Mahato Rokan Hulu regency. Al-Qur’an recitation ability was an ability of students in recite Al-Qur’an well and correct suitable with Makhrijul letter and tajwid. The effort of Al-Qur’an hadiths teacher was an awareness and planned effort in preparing students to know, having, appreciating, fath, taqwa and good attitude in implementing Islamic doctrine from the source Al-Qur’an and hadiths. The formulation in this research questioned how the effort of Al-Qur’an hadiths teacher in improving Al-Qur’an recitation ability at Islamic junior high school Nurul Iman Mahato Rokan Hulu regency. The purpose in this research examined to know the effort of Al-Qur’an hadiths teacher in improving Al-Qur’an recitation ability at Islamic junior high school Nurul Iman mahato Rokan Hulu regency. The subject in this research was Al-Qur’an hadiths teacher at Islamic junior high school Mahato Rokan Hulu regency. Meanwhile, the object in this research was the effort of Al-Qur’an hadiths teacher in improving AlQur’an recitation ability at Islamic junior high school Nurul Iman mahato Rokan Hulu regency. This research was qualitative. The approach used descriptive approach. Research source was Al-Qur’an Hadiths teachers as main informant Teti Suryanti, S.Pd.I and Amrol Toil, S.Sos.I. Data collection technique used interview and documentation. Data computation and analysis should provide raw data such as field note, and researcher view, managed and provided data to be analyze and read all data. Research finding was habituating Al-Qur’an recitation every day in morning, used appropriate method, practice directly Al-Qur’an recitation, adding qirot method and easy understanding method. Giving understanding and explanation about tajwid science and review previous lesson.
