Abstract

ANALYSIS OF THE UPSTREAM OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY ACTIVITIES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDRAGIRI HULU DISTRICT PUTRA AKBARSYAH PRATAMA NPM 163210264 ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the impact of upstream oil and gas industry activities on the development of Indragiri Hulu Regency, both in terms of economic development, social development and infrastructure development as well as the implementation of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and the inhibiting factors driving regional development through for the implementation of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) at PT. Pertamina EP Asset I Lirik Field. This research uses qualitative research type with descriptive data research type. Furthermore, data collection uses interviews and author observations as well as documentation as a research data collection tool. Interviews be conducted with CSR employees of PT. Pertamina EP Asset I Lirik Field, it is known that the implementation of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) at PT. Pertamina EP Asset I Lirik Field has been implemented in accordance with the provisions and social responsibility. However, there are still shortcomings in the implementation of activities such as activities that are less effective and inappropriate and activities that have not been carried out optimally. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is known that the contribution of PDRB Including Oil and Gas Elements has increased significantly, in the period of 11 years the income is Rp. 33.767 billion, the contribution of the Oil and Gas Sector PDRB in 11 years was 13% with an income of Rp. 4297 billion, the contribution of the Oil and Gas Revenue Sharing Fund in 11 years is Rp. 288.515.188.869 to Indragiri Hulu Regency. The Human Development Index on the achievement of success in improving the quality of human life and increasing the level of development in Indragiri Hulu Regency is included in the "Medium" category: 60 ≤ IPM ≤ 70.
