Abstract

Community Participation in the Implementation of Village Government Development in Teluk Paman Village, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency By NILDO WIRANSYAH NPM. 167310172 ABSTRACT Development is defined as a process of change to achieve a better condition than before. In an effort to change it can not be separated from a series of planned activities. These planned activities cannot be separated from the participation of related parties, for example community participation in an organization in a village. The purpose of development in Teluk Paman Village is to help and facilitate the community. The type of research used by the author in this study is to use qualitative methods, qualitative research aims to describe the real situation. The key informants in this research are the Village Government and the Teluk Paman Village Community. Data collection techniques used in this research is to use the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that community participation in the implementation of development in Teluk Paman Village is still lacking in participation and there are still several obstacles in its implementation. Community participation in the implementation of development in Teluk Paman Village, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency has not fully run optimally. In carrying out the implementation of development in Teluk Paman Village, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency, there are several obstacles faced, namely: 1) Lack of Community Awareness / Concern, 2) Social Inequality, 3) Education Level, 4) Income Level. The general assumption is that people who have sufficient income will have more free time and are no longer busy looking for additional income, so they are more actively involved in development, for example in attending village meetings.
