Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how the individual characteristics descriptively on the performance of nurses at Tengku Sulung Hospital, Pulau Kijang, Kecamatan Reteh Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. The population in this study were all employees who worked at the Tengku Sulung Hospital Pulau Kijang, Kecamatan Reteh, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique, the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations and the research objectives of 27 people. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis. The biographical characteristics of nurses have a fairly good education according to their current field of work and are experienced in the world of nursing, meaning that nurses are worthy of being trusted to become nursing personnel at Tengku Sulung Hospital, Pulau Kijang, kecamatan Reteh, kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Judging from the ability of nurses to have good intellectual abilities in the field of nursing, it means that nurses are capable and worthy of being nurses. Judging from the personality of the nurses who have a high loyalty attitude towards Tengku Sulung Hospital Pulau Kijang, kecamatan Reteh, kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, diligent and also have high motivation in working on the performance of nurses working at Tengku Sulung Hospital Pulau Kijang, kecamatan Reteh, kabupaten Indragiri Hilir is in accordance with what to expect. Judging from the quality of work the nurses have an attitude of responsibility towards their work, honesty and high accuracy when carrying out their duties. Judging from the quantity of work the nurses have worked according to work standards, procedures and policies that have been determined by the hospital. Judging from the timeliness of the nurses also have good punctuality and are quick to respond in dealing with their patients. And those who have criteria like this perform well.
