Abstract
Consumptive behavior is behavior in which individuals buy goods excessively, ignoring needs and prioritizing only wants or pleasures. The purpose of this study is to describe the consumptive behavior of motorcycle modification actors in Pekanbaru City. The subjects in this study were 200 motorcycle modification actors in Pekanbaru City who were selected by snowball sampling technique. The method of using data uses a behavior scale consisting of 16 items. The analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Based on the analysis, it is known that the consumptive behavior among motorcycle modification actors in Pekanbaru City is in the medium category. Meanwhile, there was no difference in consumptive behavior based on age. However, there is a significant difference based on the total cost of modification and the total cost of modifying a motorcycle in the last 1 year.
