Abstract
Paluh Village, Mempura District, Siak Regency is one of the areas that has 100.0 hectares of rice fields in 2019. Farmers only rely on water from pure rainfall so that production does not increase. During the dry season, there is no rainfall, so the available water discharge is very less to meet the water needs of the growing season. This study aims to calculate the dimensional discharge of rainfed irrigation canals, calculate water availability and provide technical solutions in the form of design dimensions of small reservoirs and long storage, so that irrigation water needs in Paluh village can be met as a whole. In the analysis of evapotranspiration using the Penman method. analysis of irrigation water needs (Ir) using the KP-01 concept. There are several factors that affect the need for irrigation water, namely, consumptive use (Etc), percolation (P), irrigation water needs for rice field preparation (IR), water layer replacement (WLR), effective rainfall (Re), and rice field water needs ( NFR). Analysis of water availability using a simple water balance method (Simple Water Balanced). Discharge analysis of channel dimensions using the Manning formula. Analysis of water balance using the comparison method. Analysis Small pond dimensions are calculated after knowing the amount of water demand (Vu), the amount of evaporation in the dry season (Ve), the amount of infiltration (Vi), and the sediment space (Vs). The long storage dimension is calculated using the continuity equation. From the results of the evapotranspiration analysis with an average value of 3,62 mm/day. irrigation water needs in Paluh village with an average of 23895,17 m3. Availability of water with an average of 10474,61 m3. Discharge dimensions of primary, secondary and tertiary channels meet. The water balance obtained an average water shortage of 17804,83 m3. The dimensions of the small pond have a length (Pe) of 115 m, a width (Le) of 80 m, and a height (Te) of 2 m, with a storage volume of 18400 m3. While the dimensions of long storage obtained surface width (B) 6 m, base width (b) 2 m, height (h) 2 m, guard height (f) 0.40 m, channel length 1677 m, with a storage volume of 13420 m3.
