Abstract
This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University Jl.Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11, Airingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City from March to June 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of corn litter compost and NPK Mutiara fertilizer. 16:16:16 Against the Growth and Yield of Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mll). The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the dose of corn litter compost consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 250, 500, 750 g / polybag. The second factor was NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 10, 20, 30 g / polybag, so that there were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications and 48 experimental units were obtained. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 of them were sampled for a total of 192 plants. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit crops, fruit weight per plant, number of productive branches, and number of residual fruits and were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If F count is greater than F table, then BNJ will continue at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of corn litter compost and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 significantly affected plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit crops, number of productive branches and number of residual fruits. The best treatment is a combination of corn litter compost fertilizer 500 g / polybag and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 20 g / polybag. The main effect of corn litter compost was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is corn litter at a dose of 500 g / polybag. The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 is significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 dose of 20 g / polybag.
