Abstract
Wells continue to produce will decrease reservoir pressure and well productivity declines as a result, it should be added that pressure fluid can flow to the surface, namely through the method of artificial lift (artificial lift). One method of artificial lift (artificial lift) used in FR field Courses Area is Hydraulic Pumping Unit (HPU). Hydraulic pump unit is used as a hydraulic power to set up and down the pump that will lift the fluid. In FR field use with the kind of insert-type pump tubing pump. The maximum production rate (Qmax) based on the calculation method IPR vogel on wells #F30 = 184.9 BFPD and well #F10 = 272.1 BFPD. After analysis that the volumetric efficiency of a pump is installed wells <70%. The well #F30 gained 63%, while well #F10 gained 64% so it needs to be optimized by using Nodal Analysis (Intake Pump Curve) with a variety of pump speed (N) and the stroke length (SL). Optimal results for wells # F30 obtained SL= 80 in and N = 6.6 SPM, the production rate has increased from 157 to 163 BFPD BFPD with volumetric pump efficiency of 86%, while well #F10 obtained SL = 84 in and N = 7 SPM production rate BFPD be increased from 202 to 262 BFPD with the pump volumetric efficiency of 80%.
