Abstract

The TYS well in the JR field is a vertical well that produces gas. The TYS well is a new well that was drilled in 2018 and produces multiphase fluids, namely gas and water. This well is closed until there is additional gas demand from consumers. In 2020 the well was opened and flowed again, but the flow did not last long until it was assumed that there would be a liquid loading problem in the well. Liquid loading problems that occur in wells come from water which is also produced with gas so that the flow rate decreases below the critical velocity value. One way to increase the production flow rate in the well is to analyze the sensitivity of the well head pressure. In this study, well head pressure was analyzed at 100 psia, 80 psia, 60 psia, 40 psia and 20 psia. The flow rate increases according to the decrease in the well head pressure, which is 0.50846 MMscfd to 0.63545 MMscfd
