Abstract

Youth who have future orientation have a view to the future by determining plans and evaluating the plans that have been conceptualized. Some Sakai teenagers in Sakai Village who go to school, still feel lazy to repeat lessons at home and do not complete assignments given by the teacher on time. This study aims to describe the future orientation conditions of Sakai adolescents in Kampung Sakai. This research is quantitative descriptive. The future orientation of ramaja in this study is measured by a Likert scale using the aspects proposed by Nurmi (1991). The population of this research is all Sakai adolescents in Sakai Village, amounting to 76 people, the entire population is used as research samples with the sampling technique in this study using saturated samples. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics with potert data analysis techniques. The results showed that the level of future orientation of Sakai adolescents in Sakai village was in the medium category as many as 26 people from 76 teenagers or 34.21%.
