Abstract
EVALUATION OF HYDRAULIC FRACTURING SUCCESS IN WELL AL-03 WELDING FIELD GAS FIELD BASED ON MODIFIED ISOCHRONAL TEST AND JOB POST REPORT ALFI SYUKRI EFENDI 143210175 ABSTRACT The AL-03 well has suffered formation damage due to the production process so that a scale is formed which causes a decrease in permeability thereby inhibiting the flow of reservoir fluid towards the production well. Formation damage around the wellbore is a result of drilling operations and production activities that form positive skin values around the wellbore which causes gas production to approach the economic limit (100 MSCFD), which is 116 MSCFD, obstructing the flow of production fluid from the formation to the wellbore. Hydraulic fracturing is done to increase permeability in an oil and gas well formation. The success of hydraulic fracturing can be seen from the value of the increase in permeability and increase in the production flow rate obtained through well testing conducted after the hydraulic fracturing work is completed. The modified isochronal test method is one of the well testing methods used to determine the permeability and flow rate of gas well production. Modified Isochronal Test is a well test method that uses open and close well flow rates do not need to reach a stable condition, which is proposed by opening the well, so that it produces a certain production rate over a period of t, without waiting for stable conditions. We can use the modified isochronal test and job post report data to analyze the success of the hydraulic fracturing stimulation, whether or not the hydraulic fracturing is successful can be known from the modified isochronal test and job post report data. Data analysis of modified isochronal test was conducted to find out the value of constant C, constant C is the constant of gas deliverability which is influenced by the gas flow rate (Qg) and the pressure around the well (Pw), and to know the value of the slope (n). Post job report data is carried out to find out the results of hydraulic work in the form of fracture length, fracture width, fracture height, and fracture conductivity data. The data will be used in determining permeability, skin values and production increase after hydraulic fracturing.
