Abstract

Pekanbaru City is the center of economic activity in Central Sumatra and its surroundings. Most of the population is engaged in services, industry and warehousing. It can be concluded that industrial and warehousing areas have a major influence on the city's economic activities. The increase in the city's economy will also increase the flow of traffic for the distribution of goods and services, as a result, city traffic is increasingly dense and prone to congestion and high accident rates. For this reason, this warehousing location really needs to be arranged and must be in accordance with existing regulatory policies. The location of this warehousing also affects the accessibility of the road facilities leading to the warehousing The purpose of this study is to analyze potential warehouse locations in Pekanbaru City. This study uses spatial analysis, scoring analysis (weighting), and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) analysis to determine potential warehouse locations in Pekanbaru City based on applicable regulations and stakeholder decision priorities. The results of the analysis show the distribution of warehousing locations in Pekanbaru City, namely there are 8 location points with a spreading pattern. From the 8 location points, it is then seen which locations are in accordance with applicable regulations using scoring analysis (weighting), and only 5 locations are suitable, namely Angkasa 2 warehouse 3 in 1, platinum warehousing, alvian warehousing, angasa 3 warehousing 3 in 1 1, Siak Warehousing 2. From the 5 locations, an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) analysis was carried out again and the results of a potential warehouse location in Pekanbaru City were Platinum Warehouse.
